Through this study, I explore how people take photographs. How similar are the photos to one another? What kind of composition do people choose? Do they give me directions?
I stay in one place for a while and ask passersby to take a photo of me—without giving any specific instructions. This way, people are free to decide how they want to portray me in the here and now.
