photography + creative direction + exhibition production
When humans see the planet earth for the first time out of space, their perspective of the earth and the up-living own species shifts. Among other things, a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of all life on earth develops. The phenomenon is known as the overview effect.
In the series, I examine the feeling of coming back to earth. Unfortunately, I'm not an astronaut or a billionaire. It is currently impossible for me to fly into space and see the blue planet from above.
Through photographic experiments, I try to approach the feeling of the overview effect in my own way. The works don't judge. They observe. They observe a species on a fragile blue planet.
